Lily's third birthday turned out to be so much fun! As most three year olds go, our little girl lives and breathes animals! Her very favorite animal is elephants—specifically, baby elephants. Although we couldn't invite a baby elephant to the party, and an all-day outing to the zoo with everyone was not going to work, there were definitely some fun guests that arrived to get the party started! We brought out our inner artist with some face painting. Family, friends, and neighbors gathered at the green lawn with picnic blankets and camping chairs for an animal show and petting zoo where we learned about chinchillas, cockatoos, tortoises, and giant hares. The kids loved it!
